This is one we are especially proud to share. Our Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Space course is now officially accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) as a certificate program. It took months to build the course, more months to bring it to our first students, and more still to carry it through the accreditation process, and it is gratifying to see that work recognized.

What accreditation actually means
Accreditation is more than a badge. ANAB assessed our program against ANSI/ASTM E2659, the Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, an internationally recognized benchmark for how a certificate program is designed, delivered, and maintained. In plain terms: the course does not just teach space cybersecurity, it meets independent, third-party standards for quality, rigor, and effectiveness.
That distinction matters for the people who take the course and the organizations that send them. A graduate of an accredited program holds a certificate that an employer can trust, because the program behind it has been vetted against a published standard rather than our own say-so. The current scope of accreditation is verifiable directly in our ANAB directory listing.
What the course delivers
Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Space teaches the ground, link, and space segment threats that real space systems face, and it does it hands-on. The program is capstoned on IRON GALAXY, our multi-VM space cyber range, where students map a satellite ground-station network, exploit it, and then defend it. The point of the program is to produce people who can do the work, not just describe it.
Schedule a cohort for your organization
Want this training for your own team? We schedule private cohorts for organizations with a minimum of 6 students, and we can build customized offerings tailored to your mission and systems.
If you are serious about defending space assets and ready to have your people become Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Space Certificate Program Graduates, this is where you start. See the course page for the full syllabus, or reach out to set up a cohort.
Coming soon: DoD 8140 certificate
